Pain

You won't catch me
Not if I fall
I can feel it
Deep in my bones
Like I could feel you
Right there
Nestled by my heart
But it is irrelevant
Because you're too scared
And I'm too broken
I shouldn't have held you
Or let you hold me
I wasn't ready for that
You weren't ready either
You'll never be ready
And I'll never wait
I'm done with that
The pain isn't worth it
Not anymore...
There's been too much already
