A Moment of True Love

He: oh yeah, lots of love...!
He: my one and only smiley
She:
He: lol
She: lol
He: (since my curfew is fast approaching)
He: 2:30am
He:
She: well lots of luv in return
She:
He: thanks...
She: no thanks needed silly
She: lol

He: so did you remember the last line of Syrup Queen?
She: “ZZZZZZZZ”
She:
He: OK, second from last line...
He: lol
She: lol
She: “an occasional moment of true love…”
He: moments of true love, yes that's about all one can wish for... and what keeps one going through our dreary lives...
She: hmm
She: that they do
He: that was a deep hmmm...

She: moments of connecting, understanding, time spent, company...
She:
He: you are dissecting true love like a dead frog!
He: lol
He: scalpel, please!
She: lol
He: but yes, maybe all those things, and then some...
She:
She: hmm more like dissecting pleasantries
She: true love is more complex...

He: I was imagining that you'd be sad if I wasn't 'here', as I you, true or not?
She: I believe i would be... i do enjoy ur company aft all
She:

She: sorry i rather not delve too deep into the philosophy of love and lack of...it… gets rather... sad, as our hearts and mind confuse the two, as we latch on to what we need, moments encompassing our thoughts, love and philosophy…
He: well, if love is there and genuine...
She: genuine is the trick, as we are human, and what really is pure? as such things always turn out... a lil...
She: hmmm

He: Less that perfect? Well, there are many levels of love, many types, perhaps... more than we can imagine...
She: true
She: and it's what most fail to realize
She:
She: as that’s the whole point
He: but we need them all... hungry are we... swimming in a sea of it... breathing it like those gilled, scaly thingies... hey, we're getting poetic!

He: so any last words on 'true love'?
She: lol
She: "true" love is a myth
He: a moment here, a moment there, maybe?
She: hmmm
He: Confucius say, 'Internet presents undiluted love'...
He: now who was that other guy..?
He: I had him ont the tip of my tongue....
She:
He: some wise man...
He: Rocky?
He: Conan?
He: damn, now I lost my other wise guy, too!
She: lol
He: 'Adrieeeeeennnne!!!!!'
He: lol
He: Conan didn't say much... Austrian accent... wasn’t much into riddles…
'Leeeezen to zee reeeeddle of my steeel!'
She: lol

He: OK, past my bedtime, obviously...
He: tuck me in...
She: um k...well have a good one
She: and take care of urself
She: ((hugss)))
He: yes, you too... hug
She: and thanks...
He: ?
She: for everything
She: company
She: sharing
She: everything
She:
He: and possibly a moment of...
He:
She: hmmm... possibly
She:

Author notes

.......the whole piece leads up to the end... as for true love, is it continuous, or can we only hope to catch moments of it?

    Unique!

Fascinating. I'm not much of a romantacist, but this piece certainly makes you wonder on the subject.
I really like how you used 'She' and 'He', instead of giving them names. Were you always planning on doing that?
Did you really think all this up, or base it off something real? (I tend to be like a cat or a small child--a thousand and one questions!)
If real, kudos to you! I could never be that brave, even online! ...actually, I'm not good at chatting at all... real or otherwise...(bad habit of rambling--might have noticed... ) So, very brave is a bit relative to me! lol
Besides my rambling, really interesting and very different from what I normally read. Yes, trying to expand my horizons.

    for Emily
