Forebear

The chains of hollow
Imitation clasp their sterile links on
Minds so lost in routinized intentions even
Love can spawn but
Crimes; and,
Faithless certainties, like
Clockwork, build their
Superstitious blinds so even
Faith becomes the Devil trading hope for fruitless
Rinds.

I also had to read this one a few times before I figured out the whole meaning of this poem quite a unique and thought-provoking piece you have wielded here, very well done!

I've also noticed you are new on this site, so allow me to welcome you on Allpoetry with open arms I have to say that I'm aware of the fact that this site is quite a big labyrinth, where you can get lost in easily, but I have no doubt you already found your way through the pages However, if you happen to have any question at all, or if you need help with something, then don't hesitate to contact one of the Greeters using the 'help' tab on top of the page and then 'ask a question'. we will help you or answer you with all of our pleasure as soon as possible

Glad you have found the road to this community site, so I hope you'll enjoy your stay on here
