God Is Good

GOD IS GOOD

Another child will be born today
In a house without God's love
God will still bless this child
He watches from Heaven above

Children will suffer pain and abuse
Their parents are constantly high
Addicted to heroin for three years
Neighbors ignore his constant cries

The world has become very selfish
Moral values and God tossed away
schools teach to have protected sex
The Lord's Prayer you can not pray

The T.V. is full of sex and violence
Children watch it alone after school
Families that stay together and pray
Are labeled right wing Christian fools

We all need God in our lives every day
To face temptation in this crazy world
We must remain a great nation under God
Pray each day as Old Glory is unfurled

    Amen.
    Sandy,
This is all so true. I've know quite a few children who come from homes without God and each time I see and talk to them I hope they see Him shining in me. Thanks for sharing this poem. Love and hugs...
