I'm walking away from another day of school-
Too repetative, too boring.
My head hurts and my body aches.
Wind picks up, tugging at the leaves.
Trees rustle and sway, too musical, too magical.
Colors push themselves around my feet,
Red and orange and gold and brown.
The crush of leaves beneath my boots
The smell of dying earth
The taste of cool air in the back of my throat.
There are no words that can describe these things.
There are only senses, memories.
You will never understand but to feel for yourself.
I'm walking away from another day of school
But I don't care where I came from,
Or where I might be going.
I only know that I'm here, I'm now.
And I've never felt better.
