When the sun goes down
I awake
As the mist covers the land
I breath
When the pale moon washes over me
I live
Hear my call echo
through distant darkness
A plead lost to your cries
And we weap together
I ride west chasing the sun
Hoping that in my futile attempt
I will catch a single sun ray
So that I may bring it back to you
Perhapes then
Your wails will no longer haunt the land
Your tormented soul will find peace
And age old fears will be put to rest
I would bleed for you
I would pleade for you
I would lay down and die
Just so you wouldn't have to cry
So my quest continues
And I ride on
Looking for a way
To silence the banshee's song
