Questions

Why does it always feel like the world is crashing down around you?
Why does it feel like you cant do or say anything right?
Why do you do something stupid when you’re not even trying?
How can you upset someone with something humorous?
After all, isn’t it supposed to be funny?

How can a hypothetical question turn into something more literal than you can imagine?
How can one little smile change an entire world?
How can a glance across the room give a glimmer of hope?
How can a phone call change a life?

Why when you feel like everything is great
It all the sudden goes to pot?
Why can you be heavy on your feet?
Then suddenly have all burdens lifted
How can getting everything out of your head
Ease the pain?
At least for a second

Why does listening to your favorite song
Stir something deep inside your heart?

Why do we all have so many questions?
What kind of answers do we want?
Do we want to solve a problem?
Or just be reassured?
Do we want to cause trouble?
Or are we just curious?

If everything was easy
Would it be worth living?
Why should everything be handed to us?
But why shouldn’t it?

I guess threes no answer to all of life’s questions
But is that really all that bad?

good use of rhetorical questions.... well if they aren't rhetorical questions then they might as well be because you'll never get a correct answer to any of these questions.... which i would consider some of life's most difficult questions... i'm sure there is also plenty more that could be added to that list but that would probably make it the worlds longest poem if they were all added!! that was a very interesting write though! i loved it! i'm sure many people ask those very same questions every single day!

    Hiya Crazy Frogger,

I gotta gree wit grannyeri... ya needs punkshatashun.

Also, since this is a poetry forum, you might consider either:

    A. decorating your verbiage with some exotic adjectives--it is awfully plain.

    or

    B. Submit such a submission to Allphilosphy as is.

Where grannyeri is more a stickler for form, I like to read something with zest and vitality.

why does it always feel like the world is crashing down around you
why does it feel like you cant do or say anything right
why do you do something stupid when your not even trying
how can you upset someone with something humorous
after all, isnt it supposed to be funny

why does it feel like the world is imploding around you
why does it feel like you're a dysfunctional dolt
why do you unintentionally trigger social self destruction
how can you arouse suspicion with something humorous
after all, wasnt it supposed to be funny

Reminds me of young children and the why phase they all go through, they question everything over and over again. You sure have a lot of questions here - and a good answer at the end. Just find it difficult to read with no contraction apostrophes, no question marks etc. Think you lose something without it, but that's just me - being a former language teacher, I always harp on that - sorry. Liked what it was all about though.

Good questions, and I'm sure there's millions more. You start thinking too much like this and you get totally stuck in your own head.

    Interesting write.
