Beware the Spirits of Hallows Eve

Ghost and Ghouls and Goblins might,
fly into your home on Hallows eve night.
Witches and Vampires and Werewolves too,
will be out in great numbers looking to you.

Aliens beings and bright strong Super Heroes,
In search of sweet things wherever they go.
So throw out the candy treats in the streets,
dead bolt your doors, hide under bedsheets.

They'll ring the bells, pound on your shutters,
say trick or treat, some even have stutters.
Teeth gnashing and gnawing demanding or else,
play mean senseless pranks, so harshly dealt.

Legend has it just on this one hallows night,
all things are possible that give you a fright.
Children and some adults dress to frighten away,
evil things that from the dead come back to prey.

On the souls of the living beings of earth,
on this one only night they can have a rebirth.
But only till sunrise of days light November first,
then back into limbo they are banished and cursed.

This was an excellent write, and very discriptive of the dreaded holiday we know as "Halloween". Not one of my favorites, for various reasons. Good Luck in the contest, and have a safe and happy Halloween.
