    do you know how long it has been since someone asked me to dance? virtual or not--this is freakin' cool. you just made my day. now i am really going to cry. i love kenny g and had i been listening to this in the yard i might not have fallen so darn hard. this is great and thank you for making me smile. i am listening to this as i type away. hey maybe if i shut up long enough someone might ask me to dance. hmmmm? now there is a thought for me to ponder. thank you. vilanger

    hehe, I'm in an all-girls band in town and whenever we go on overnight trips, this is the song we always sing as we pull into the school!!

    -Cept these are the words we use:

    "We're here because we're here because we're here because we're here; we're here because we're here because we're here because we're here." etc etc

    Exact same tune though. Minus the funky background effects. 'Twould be grand to have such mastery on a school bus, now wouldn't it!! hehe

    But anyways, yes, this was lovely. I'm gonna listen to it again now!

    I love Kenny G and could listen to him play for hours. He has such a soft sexy tone and pitch to his work. This is indeed the perfect song to slow dance to as we bring in the new year and kiss the old one away. You do indeed have that touch of romanticism to you... you are such a sly one son of my heart!

    thanks, Owlfire, yes, the Old Poet Robert Burns wrote the lyrics to Auld Lang Syne in the 1700's. The melody has been around, and according to Zonia above, it's a football cheer! Happy New Year (and cool name you have!)

    Wow, Kenny G did not write Auld Lang Syne guys, it's been around forever...although yes he prolly wrote that VERSION of the song. :-) Anyhow this was a cool thing, I enjoyed it! Happy New Year!

    I went to a Kenny G concert at City Hall some years ago and I cried then too. You touched my heart like the romantic you are. Sometimes I leave the bar with the jukebox playing. this New Years as I lock up I will leave this song playing a I lock up and drive home knowing it blesses the entire New Year.
