My Guardian Angel Is A Beautiful Butterfly

I have a very special Guardian Angel come down from the sky!
She flies to me on the wings of a precious butterfly.
Every time I need help or advice, she is no stranger.
Mostly she looks human, like the ones on TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL.

I thrive in her words from above, rhyming verses to spare.
She calls herself Debbie but, truth to tell -- do I dare? --
Everywhere she lights on this web of Forums here and there
A butterfly, she flies by, leaving words beyond compare.

I always hope to find her words where ever she has been.
I read them when I do find them, and then read them again.
My Guardian Angel refreshes me each time she flies by.
Gives me good advice and shows me how with her to fly.

I only have to close my eyes
And first thing that I know, I've shrunk down to her size.
Then by just thinking so, I find that I can fly.
We fly here and we fly there, but do not fly too high.

Visiting an array of different Forums in the poetry domain,
We leave good words as we fly by or light and do the same.
In writing verse I may do worse than most, but who cares!
When I go with an Angel one is entertaining unawares!

Flying through the cyber space without a space suit on,
Without a spill, is quite a thrill, cause Debbie can do no wrong.
And then there is the joy of loving that inside me springs
From all the joy she provides to us on her wings.

Only she and God know all the places that she goes.
You can tell where she has been by how the site unfolds.
I don't go with her every time or I'd have no time to rhyme.
She is so busy I'm in a tizzy just reading her posts and mine.

Guardian Angel Debbie is a brilliant butterfly.
She's been around since God did found the earth and the sky.
I'm so glad she chose me to be her friend to heed
Her Angel's touch that means so much to ordinary me, indeed.

Ellis

Awe, my sweet friend, you made me cry; but with tears of happiness.
You are such an inspiration such a kind and gentle man, but above even that you are a true friend, and I'll hold that friendship in deepest regard forever. Thank you for being here, thank you for being you.
love you my friend,
Debbie

Oh, Ellis, this is a very nice tribute to your friend, Debbie. I am sure that she will treasure this poem always. You are, indeed a very sweet man. Her angel's touch that means so much to ordinary me indeed. I love that line. Perfect closure for this poem. But, you, my friend are not ordinary, in my book, you are extraordinary! Susan

Lovely rhyme and rhythm to this poem. Wouldn't it be wonderful if this could be for real? Nicely written.
