When you open your eyes to the clear blue sky
you open you eyes to the truth
Then you look beyond and ask god why
As your mind starts to drift
Now you lay down and close your eyes
And you take a step back into life
And then you fianlly realize
That as long as angels are watching above you'll be alright
Take me with you, for i want to see your face
Open my mind, my heart, my soul
Come take me to my rightful place
And let me discover anything i have not learned
Since we are all in the body of christ we all need eachother
because love covers a multitude of sins
we need to accept help and forgive one another
Even when life takes its spins
Dont worry about anything
Instead pray about everything
Be sure to tell god your needs
and thank him for his answers and good deeds
One of gods greatest gifts are unanswered prayers
For he put you in my life and thats a thanks worth giving
So i take the time everynight before bed
To thank him for this wonderful life worth living

I love this! Its so true that in the world of turmoil, trials and tribulations that people who had faith may be losing it or never had faith at all. Personally I stopped and thought about me and where I am in the world of faith. Kinda scary. But you bring forth a driving yet peaceful message all in one. Faith and God can be very hard subjects to talk about in this day and age. I love how you did and produced an excellent piece! Now I have figured out the applause thing so this definitly warrents all 3!

This was awesome. It truly renews a faith in God that is dying inside of me. When someone writes something that flows so easily off the tongue, it makes the lesson seem easier to learn almost. When I read this I had the feeling that all I needed to do was pray and my pain would disappear. I wish it was really that easy, but what's important is that your poem inspired that feeling, even if for a brief moment in my heart of stone. Great job and best of luck to you.
