Sightless

Pain is inflicted
Seeping into the blue
Everyone does not know
Everyone but you

Forever and forever
Now and ever

Is the whole world blind?
Can’t they see?
Are they truly sightless,
Everyone and me

An eye for an eye
And the whole world goes blind
Or so I was told
Long, long ago

Forever and forever
Now and ever

Is the whole world blind?
Can’t they see?
Are they truly sightless,
Everyone and me

Inflicted pain
By whip or words
Tears fall
Deep into the world

Forever and forever
Now and ever

Is the whole world blind?
Can’t they see?
Are they truly sightless,
Everyone and me

Forever and forever
Now and never

              Never

                         Never
                                    Never…

the repetition actually created a great flow here. also, this write totally boggled my mind and made me think deeply. my favorite line might have been "An eye for an eye And the whole world goes blind" a humorous yet quite a philosophical line. all in all a wonderful write
