Aroma's from grandma's home-made pie
Delicious apples dangling from the tree
Baked on the open hearth leading to the sky
The warmth of the family gathering can be
A holiday filled with laughter, love and joy
Scented candles flicker ever so brilliantly
Sweet stick candies for each girl and boy
A flavored treat certain to bring a smile
Stuffed in their stockings instead of a toy
Going home the kids count every mile
Visions of muffins and cookies they see
Grandma's treats not tasted for awhile
Sweet smells of love surround the family
The comfort of home smells so deliciously
