Hello there, I'm Tiki Cat,
author of all Ellis writes.
This is for the reason that
I am the most bright!
My poetry is the best,
better than all the rest,
except for what you write, of course.
(To say that, I was forced.)
If you praise my writes real good
then it is understood --
you will get a prize.
A week's supply
of my cat food
right before your eyes!
It will make you
strong and smart
and get you going, too,
and make you able to write real sharp
like only I can do!
So take your time
and praise away
all you have to say,
and I will check
if you're correct.
Then throw it all away!

Nice rimes, good meter, definitely, as far as I have read, your poetry is charming, and is the . . . mmm, shall I say, "One of the best ___", because, I am also there, among the best, aren't I???

Your words are so cute. So interesting to read. I have cats also and I love them. My babies are so spoiled but I love spoiling them. Tiki, my friend, you write very well and Ellis should be jealous.

I like the last line! One of my cats, evidentialy, in his last life was an editor: he shreds every page I have written upon! That's Blaize Achew Pandamonium who has purrsonally murdered eight lamps and about 20 lampshades!

so honoured and revered,
when you write so well for Ellis,
'tis a talent to be feared.
Of course you sit there proudly,
as any true feline should,
accepting praise and tribulations
in the way a proud cat would.
Please accept my thanks in plenty
for your visits to my page,
I'm honoured to receive the praise
of such a worthy feline sage.

Well, never mind, my words may serve
To whet those whiskered lips!
