Panting, my feet pat.
I turn the corner, into an open couryard.
CAMPER!  CAMPER!
running back, strafing out,
shooting upwards, shot him in the mouth.
HEADSHOT.

Through the corridors
mowing down terrorists.
I'm out of ammo,
knife out.
I perch myself
on that ledge and crouch,
waiting.

I deal him a clout
w/ my knife.
knifed.
HUMILIATION.
I've sent his life
back to his respawn point.

Jumping, shooting,
ducking, weaving,
and above all:  STRAFING.

Listen carefully to footsteps.
He's on your right.
Walk so they don't hear you.

Get down!  Get down!
GRENADE! Grenade!
Whistling through the air.
Singing death's sweet serenade,
there's the first sign of wear and tear
to your perfect ratio.

Excuse the brief instances of l337.  I hope the AP posting script doesn't screw it up >.<

this is based off of the 1st person shooter counterstrike
2 teams- terrorist and counter-terrorist

I'm not much of an online gamer.  The only one I play right now is ac's RO.
1337 is occaisionally used by gamers, so I thought it'd be appropiate
a haxor is a hacker
strafing- moving back and forth to avoid running in a straight line, which makes you an easy target

a knife is provided for all.  it requires very close range, but it's 1-hit KO

the ratio is the kill/death ratio

a camper waits in one place for someone to come and then kills that person.  A camper is usually hidden in such a way that s/he is initially obscured and has the element of surprise

    Excellent poem. You were able to work in game lingo in a way that fits appropriately in context with your poem. You also incorporate a very real dynamic experienced by most online gamers at some point--hacks, cheats and campers. I think people will relate who even play games without the player killer aspect. Most games have had their share of 1337 loot campers as well as cheat codes and combat macro bots, etc.
