happy days

happy days have gone too fast
are there any more?
depressing moments seem to last
far longer than they should.

boys and girls who think that they
know what it's all about.
birds and bees who do what they
see as right or wrong

playground games and teasing-gangs
that make a child a youth.
first-time events and silly accidents
that change our lives forever.

Author notes

I haven't written in such a long time, this one i wrote just to write.

Should it be made longer?

Well, to just have written it for the sake of writing, it's fairly good. . .weren't the happiest days when you were little and you only worried about mis-matching socks and which colour of sucker you wanted? ah, yes. . but, we have fun don't we? we're still happy. .
