Last night I had a wondrous dream
The angels escorted me
To a place of marvellous grandeur
As far as the eye could see.
The skies were blue and crystal clear
The silence so profound
Then I heard the shirring of their wings
As the angels gathered around.
Gods' voice spoke as roaring thunder
Through the Heavens it did ring
Their voices raised in melodic tones
As the angels began to sing.
The sound came forth from every portal
Like none I'd heard before
I felt the Heavens begin to shake
I caught a glimpse of Heavens' shore.
The beauty I saw was beyond compare
My eyes could not behold
My mind just could not fathom
The riches so untold.
And then Gods' voice rang out again
This time He said to me
All of this, and so much more, my friend,
Can be yours, you see.
I've a mansion prepared, awaiting you
Your names above the door
Someday soon I'll welcome you home
To live on Heavens' shore.
