All hail the golden haired Goddess Barbie
For she is immaculate, immortal, beautiful
Born on an Advertising Slogan of the mindless
She fast became a fashion role model
Her sleek, almost boneless body made her unique
She neither eats nor cares for food
She has many handmaidens who follow her
Her head contains no form of intelligence
She is just a clothes horse..a clay statue
Mum unwittingly recruits her handmaidens
Her handmaidens become slaves to her ideals
Ideals not meant for any human being
They live in a shadowy world
Somewhere between Bulimia and Anorexia
Vomiting up their meaningless guilt
Shying away from mirrors of shame
Little girls in pain,shame and sadness
Girls with tubes down their throat
No will left..being forced to eat
A deep dark sadness cult..no retreat
I cry for their innocence lost
One day Barbie we will rise against you
We will stand tall..we will eat ..be happy
We will defy those who would use us
We will learn to become who we are
Not what they want us to be..
Say What Barbie ..we will again be Free

Haha, I like the coment above me. I was nicknamed barbie once, then i decided i'd really truely become a 5'4 barbie. I became bulimic, i regret it now, but it was a leson well learned. i love this poem! beautieful!
