your end

Through the iron I see tears in you
Tears begging for bereavement
Wishing for relief of loss and pain
And mournful achievement

I know you hear those tempting calls
To enticing to resist
But if only you will wait with me
To find of what the future may consist

Do not leave my unknown friend
Listen to my call and plea
For always I think of you
And the future that you see

To think of your sullen face
Never to know a smile
For you to cut it down to soon
And leave life eternally vile

To think of all the wonderful words
That you will never speak to me
It is thought to painful to touch
To know of all the things that would not be

I know of loss I know of pain
Of sadness, hurt and love
But do you really think that you will find
Less of it, up above?

For through every frown in which you confide
There is a set of teeth
A shining eye, a joyful sound
A blade of bliss in sorrows sheath
