beautiful Such a peaceful write, you painted a vivid image in my mind. Your imagery in this great and you show instead of tell which is really, really good when writing a Haiku. Amazing! Brilliant work

    haaaaaaaaaaah!

so thats wat haiku is! It waz short and it made sense. I like it. Its just like tellin a story in less than 10 words and the advantage of everyone knowin about it. Great stuff.

Ah, what a breath of fresh air. Nice one!

This reminded me of last weekend when Master Maria, Heather and I were out in the field behind the school. The biggest Monarch butterfly I've ever seen was fluttering around at the far end of the field. I pointed at it, and dang it if didn't come right over and say hello to us. lol Very sociable.

    Autumn rocks, doesn't it?

    Take care buddy

Thanks for the compliment, Lena. I would never claim to be talented at haiku...just working on it. I deeply appreciate your encouragement.

I used to not like these little poems but over time I realise that they are wonderful as long as someone talented is writting them

I think this is my favorite by you. You've got a lot of talent from all that I've read of your stuff. I really like haikus and you do them so well. There's a lot in one haiku rather than just a bunch of words put together. This was real good.

What a lovely moment you have captured in this breath-taking 'ku. I am quite fond of them although I am quite selective of which ones I actually post online. I have truly enjoyed the image that plays out so naturally in my mind here. Excellent piece.

Thank you, lady rose...haiku is a serious challenge: how to say a lot by saying so little. Escpecially interesting for someone like me, who enjoys saying so much with so many words. It's funny how poetry can be a lesson for life.
