One friend.....

If you can be beside
When the world deserts me,
And hide your pride,
To on my side be,

If you can stand through thick and thin,
Through this world unknown and bare,
Restraining me from all & any sin,
Giving love, compassion and care,

If you can befriend your nightmare,
To help my cause,
And with my, sorrows share,
Consoling me at every loss.

If you can glance at the world,
With my eyes,
While your views you hurl,
And feed to your heart lies.

If you can face criticism,
To learn my heart,
With all of enthusiasm,
And with your interests part

If you can growl at your love,
To make me feel well,
And through my seas row
And in my grief dwell.

If you can fall off your feet
To be in my shoes,
And take all the heat,
And say “Life goes”

If you can bark at me
And laugh with my soul,
For all to see,
And in my dreams prowl.

If you can be by my side ,
When duty and love reckons,
And my soft thoughts abide,
And give timely sense.


If you can see me dilate
From good to evil,,
And my move debate
Without grief little.


If you can see reality,
And feel my dreams,
And see artistic beauty
In my mistakes, and what it means.

If you can proudly say ,
“I’m his friend”
Pointing my way,
And joy to me send,

If even not so,I shall proudly burn ,
That near or far,
I have a friend to yearn,
One to care ,love and live for…………………..
