I’ll Never Leave You

No! Don’t leave me.
I don’t have the strength to hold on with out you.
I need you safe in my arms.
I can’t stand you in danger.
Save your innocence.

Remember our summer days,
Together through it all.
Sharing laughs and smiles.
Holding each other up when we’re down.
Now that summer is past.

I wouldn’t leave you for the world.
I know you need me now.
Though you’re far way, you’re close in my heat.
I will wait till you return,
just…

    That's a really tragic piece. The way you start with an interjection is really dramatic and is very pulling into the poem!Great piece.
