Veritas

Veritas flows and puddles in these parts
So if a ring divides and holds two hearts,
our reflection in the pool,
                                                              eternity paid in full,
glimmers green in the eye of time,
a question hides within your rhyme,
eddying into forever
                                                              golden secrets wrap my finger

Beautifully ambiguous with a touch of the ete

Very interesting. Which way did you write it? I loved the water symbolism flowing through this poem. You communicate what you were feeling when you wrote this without truly touching on specifics. It's like having a bird's eye view of you, glimpses and sketches of a moment in time, with the strong emotional undercurrent pulling the reader on. Your poetry delights, as always, and I can't put a finger on the greatness in this piece. Perhaps because it just eddies into forever, as you say brilliant work, keep writing!!

    AAHHH!!! It's me...on allpoetry again!
I love your writing, so it's no suprise that I love this poem. The formatting makes it really intersting, almost like there's 2 separate poetic identities that intertwine into one being. Veeeerrryyyy eeeeeiinnnteresting.
Hope you're having a blast @ RIT, and keep writing!
