Goodbye

I don't want it to end like this,
I don't want you to hate me,
I'd love to still be friends,
The final decision is yours

I'll be okay,
I've thought it through,
If I try hard enough,
I WILL get over you

Maybe some other place,
Maybe some other time,
I'll be brave,
And I'll make you mine

But until then I'll rest,
I'll wait this lifetime,
I'll hang around,
I'll wait for you at the end of time,

Just in case you hate me now,
I may as well say bye,
I know how good you are at keeping grudges,
You wont forgive me until I die

So goodbye to you,
I'll bother you no more,
No more wretched poems,
No more emotional gore

No more getting lost in your eyes,
No more avoiding your gaze,
I have nothing more to lose,
My hearts too dead to graze

So goodbye allpoetry,
Goodbye my friends,
I'll leave you no more,
With crappy poems,

There's nothing more I need her to read,
No more stupid attempts to make her hurt,
No more trying to make her love me,
Hopefully it's the last memory I have to erase...
