MY PASSION FOR CHRIST
Lord I climbed so many mountains
I fell down so many times before
How many more trials must I face
Dear Lord I can not take anymore
I am trying hard to be righteous
And not to be tempted by sin
Lord don't leave me all alone
Ffor I am afraid the devil may win
I keep searching for the passion
My beloved God I had for you
I was truly full of the Holy Spirit
When reborn and my faith was new
Somehow I lost it when left alone
My thirst for Jesus was fading away
The more I cried the more I failed
Till I fell to my knees to pray
I am crying out to you my Lord
Come and fill my heart once more
Fill it full of passion and your love
Bring back the desire I had before
Give me the strength to do right
And a peace I have never known
Let me feel your presence again
Never again do I want to feel alone
I can only promise to do my best
Lord I need some help from you
Take my hand and show me the way
Grant me wisdom in all I may do

Great write! I can relate to this poem...just gotta remember not to give up. God is wonderful! Sometimes I go on here to read inspirational poems and I go to bible studies...they help a lot! Good job!

I've been in that place so many times before. I know exactly how you feel. But God heard my prayers, so I know He'll hear yours. Just keep praying, and trusting, you're already more than halfway up that mountain. Great write, beautiful, and passionate. Wonderful job, Sandygram.
