She is my little princess
such a sweet little girl
always makes me smile
watch her spin and twirl
She will melt your heart
whenever she dances
looking so tiny and cute
practicing all her stances
A tutu with pink lace
silken slippers to wear
her eyes seem to sparkle
a pink ribbon in her hair
Long blond hair in curls
has a cute button nose
a tiny ballerina dancer
spinning upon her toes
She light up the stage
as she twirls all around
floating like a butterfly
never making a sound
She spins and falls
so she takes a pause
our tiny dancer receives
an encore of applause

I have spent many happy days watching my grandaughters practice and dance in their dance recitals.
