In this messed up world
Say they need things

No one knows what the word need
really means, no one knows how it feels
to actually need something,
When they say they need
They have no idea what it's like
To see someone
And, five minutes after they have gone
To feel lonely, depressed, and unwanted
To want someone at your side
So badly, it can be called a need
A need for that person
A need for their presence
To help you live
To make you work harder
For the goal that seems to fade
Fade away as they walk
One step,
two steps,
three steps away
Your dreams seem to fade
Until they run back to you
That's what need really is

I applaud you! This describes needing to it's core. You are absolutely correct. No one knows what need really is. I might sometimes, but mostly not. I miss my grandmother, but I live on. Great poem! Keep up the phenomenal work!

ummm...how would you know? gawsh... lol... i am just kidding... i am sorry that last night i didnt get on after my comp froze... i was going to but my mom stopped to talk to me and we kind of had a argument... of a sort... more like a talk where she was pointing out how much of a bitch i was to her and me acting like she was that... well it wasn't fun and we both ended up crying(that seems like the lonely solution no doubt)... i am not nice... i hope you sleep well the night i didnt say goodbye... i am sad about that too... i will talk to you as soon as i can...
