The Final Proposal.....
Unmindful of their glares,
That shines upon me,
I care not of their thoughts,
It is you I came to see.
Tears of rage, smiles of eternity,
Like clouds swept over my face,
Anger pierced my thoughts,
As in grief I strode down to your place.
The heart knew the meaning,
But not did my love,
I knew it was too late.
But it has to be here, right now.
The pale flowers donned you,
With you praised in white,
With the eternal peace around,
The bells tolled in their height.
Bending down to you , I whisper to your soul
“I love you, my dear, always have, always will”
Then I turn around and leave you in your coffin,
As with your heavenly smile you lie still…….

Nicely written, a few grammatical edits need to be made. Aside from the fact it was a powerful poem, I find it has missed the mark as far as the point of this contest is concerned.
