~BRIDE OF HATE MY AP DAUGHTER KITTY~
Being a mom to her is great,
Really makes me appreciate.
It's just begun to set in now,
Darn it I'm a mom, wow, wow, wow!!!
Everyone meet my new daughter,
Of her I'm proud, that is for sure.
Filling my heart with so much love,
He sent her to me from above.
And don't you judge her by this name,
The book and cover aren't the same.
Entertaining is her story,
Mom sits here in all her glory.
You never know what she will do,
Alas, I have to say that's true.
Pristine to me she'll always stay,
Delightful, just like sunny day.
And if you ever get the chance,
Upon her poems, you should glance.
Greatness is a word to describe,
How you will feel if you imbibe.
This daughter of mine, so much zeal,
Energetic, she'll make you feel.
Resplendent, a word I do use,
Knowing she has more than one muse.
Independent she is the best,
To show you this, she'll never rest.
Takes full responsibility,
Yes my daughter, proud as can be.

Amazing how one can do so much for another through words of kindness that are not just words but true feelings. I have to tell you that was the toughest rhyming acrostic I ever wrote, because I wanted to find all the right words in my heart to express what I felt.
It was all well worth it when I saw your comment come up on my screen, that's for sure.
Now wipe away those tears even though they are happy ones, sit back and enjoy knowing that you are the best. Head and shoulders above the rest.

Marianne, The others were prewrites but, I just became an AP mom so of course I had to do one for my daughter. I did fall in love with the acrostics, must be from doing crossword puzzles for so long. LOL
