The devil beneath your breast
I am the rose blooming in your heart

I am the demon under your skin
The creature in your bones
I am the raven pecking at your eyes
The virus gnawing at you
I am a ghoul clawing at you
The talons hot and sharp
I am the skull fanged and hungry
The beast in your heart
I am death eating your soul
The disease contagious
I am famine dry and horrid death
The plunder plucked from your soul
I am war raging at you
The blood on your hands
I am pestilence an epidemic
The corpses beneath you
I am Anubis dark and evil
The saber in your side
I am Satan burning internal

This is definitely one of the darkest writes I've gotten so far. Quite powerful too, I don't know if I like the repetition of "heart" twice, but good imagery throughout.
Thanks for entering, and thanks for including why you like this poem best in your author's notes, most people didn't bother to do that.
