This big smile doesn't seem to cover much anymore.
Lately, it seems all I want to do is cry.
Did I tell you I don't cry on the outside anymore?
I just laugh and pretend like nothing is wrong.
So where does it all go?
Stays bottled up inside, I guess.
That's pretty cliqued if you ask me.
I can explain myself to one person.
And I hardly talk to her, or so it seems.
So I guess I'll just keep the invisible tears coming.
Waiting for someone to stop them.
I suppose I'll be waiting a [long] while,
Because no one hears my cry for help.
No one hears my screams {of terror}.
This big smile,
It's all faded now.
Nothing is left, but

Didnt think it was crappy at all... puts to words what alot of people do especially ones who are in alot of pain. Thought this was full of emotion and sadness and I loved it. Personal poems are always the best...

Don't write this piece off, pardon the pun hehe. No seriously I found it very interesting and strangely satisfying to read. The thought put into the poem is very strong, and the way you have expressed yourself here is original. I think this is a good write and I'd encourage you to do more. -
