He looks into my eyes and touches my face
Wraps me in his arms completely embraced
My heart was beating so fast
Wondering how long this feeling would last
The smell of his cologne extracts my senses
And breaks down my walls of defenses
His voice calms my mind
And says to relax and leave everything behind
I never thought the day would come
To have a best friend as my love
Shivers go down my spine
As he puts his fingers in between mine
He has opened my eyes and shown me the world
Taken my dreams and opened whats inside
And let me watch his love completely unfurl
As we lie cheek to cheek
I think about how he has touched me so deep
How do I know this is forever?
Or even if we are supposed to be together?
I don't know these answers and probably never will
I just think of how much of my heart he can fulfill
He is the one for all times
He will forever fill my life
I just need to tell you that when i say "I Love You" It's no lie
My love for you will never die

Very Romantic piece! Almost like it came straight out of a movie into your real life. It happens that way sometimes. Enjoy it when it does! I love how you show your feelings both inside and out. Saying what is happening to you on the outside and how it effects you on the inside makes it feel as a reader like I am looking through your eyes and seeing and feeling exactly what you were. Very well written, I can relate entirely! The only criticism is "He has opened my eyes" I feel that a break, and then that line opening another stanza, would be better. But that's just my opinion. Very well written and good luck in my contest!
