Just Wait

You lying on my chest is a comfortable weight,
I brush my hands down your face and through your hair,
Our fingers laced, set gently on your waist,
I tickle your neck and gently rub your shoulders,
Soon you are fast asleep.
Even asleep, your beauty makes me stare,
I kiss you as you tuck closer to my body,
What will it be like tomorrow morning?
I close my eyes and rest my head,
Sparing you one last glance as the world fades away.

Gone, when I open my eyes,
No weight, no fingers laced, no kisses,
Simply a dream, and cruel at that,
Just wait until I find you.

That is sooo good. It always sucks when you have a really good dream, and you wake up and realize that it was just that, only a dream. I guess as humans we strive to make our dreams come true.
