Redemption's Rain - an etheree poem

Missing image

Rain.

Sprinkles.

Splattering,

soaking dry earth,

slicing tough night sky,

seemingly   endless   tears

of remorse  for  those  fallen.

All needing renewal, hope, love,

crying to receive Redemption's Rain

from the  Savior and  King of creation.

This is another wonderful write by you, you have intergrated the vocabulary and the form together so perfectly. I like the way you've set background for the poem, and then introduced the Christian theme in clearly at the end. Awesome write!

    Very nice work!

Wow! This is a nice poem with a beautiful title and a wonderful form. I didn't know anything about this form until I got to this poem and read yours and the comments. You've got the syllable count down perfect.

Thank you for introducing me to this lovely form. I'll have to try this sometime

All the best in the contest!

Oh Joanne, I loved this these I believe are your best. I know I sure need the redemption rain to be filled with more of Christ and feel His love more and know just how much beautiful.
This reflections the closeness of the Lord's touch upon a heart and yet the person and that seeking within. Love ya, Me

    Good

I change my vote. I read it again and it captured me more the second time. I was drinking some pop the first time. Sorry!

    Good

This is good, but it is not really my sort of poetry. Please don't be offended. I will read some more of your work and probably it will be better than mine anyway. Keep writing!

    excellent

oh wow. this was excellent. Just a first glimpse of the poem had me hooked. not only does it sound good but it also looks very good. This was very beautiful, very creative, this must have been quite a challenge for you capturing such beautiful images in such few words. I donot know how you did it, but you did. And you did a great job. your words flow from your pen as smoothly as a knife slicing through butter. i love it. very good job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
