There is no rhyme or reason to some of the contests. I just pick and choose the ones I think are run fairly honest. At the end of the day, it is still up to the whims of the host.

I like this. Im surprised it didnt win. The words are well chosen and impart a clear picture. Good write. I think these shorter poem forms are hardest, but you seem to have a talent for it.
