Beneath the Hourglass

So broken
Breathless in a world full of air
Let her go, if you really care
She's held so fragile,
Shattered beneath the surface
She's given up, without a purpose
Hear her cry…
Let her die…
Beneath the hourglass

Opened by the darkness
Pages in a book
Dripped by tears
Another page of fears…
In another day
Trapped another night
Another evil
Unable to fight
Covered within lies
Drenched within deceit
Running from a monster
A monster she can't see
Crying, dying to be saved
From a monster she made

She's trapped
No light to be seen
There,
There she lies…

And she is…
So broken
Breathless in a world full of air
Let her go, if you really care
She's held so fragile,
Shattered beneath the surface
She's given up, without a purpose
Hear her cry…
Let her die…
Beneath the hourglass

She lies,
Broken
Beneath your wings
Blood white face
No where to belong
Can't finish the race
Don't hold her hand
No one can understand
Don't keep her here
And don't stop her crying
Because inside,
Inside she's already dying

Hear her cry…
Let her die…

She's trapped
No light to be seen
There,
There she lies…

And she is…
So broken
Breathless in a world full of air
Let her go, if you really care
She's held so fragile,
Shattered beneath the surface
She's given up, without a purpose
Hear her cry…
Let her die…
Beneath the hourglass
Beneath the hourglass…

This is nice. I'd like to hear this one with a little music to back it up. I can just hear it now with the sad strings of the guitar mimmicing the sorrow so well expressed in here.
I don't know what to say more about the words. They are just so exqusite in their beauty with a such sweet simplicity that's sure to tease your heart!
