To get a good shine,
You got to rub hard;
For sweet fragrance,
Crush the spikenard.
Crystal sings well,
Struck by a finger;
Gold shines true,
Heat being the trigger.
Tests and temptations,
For this day,
Provoke us to go near,
Be with Him, and pray.
To glory within
Our tribulation,
His intent for the good
Signature of salvation.
Even our Jesus
Had to be tempted;
Led by the Spirit,
Satan was pre-empted.
Now He is shown,
A sympathetic High Priest;
Compassionate to all,
Even the least.
The fire will test,
And prove you true;
Go to the Lord,
He has wisdom for you.
And you will grow,
To be much more pure;
A genuine son
With strength to endure.
What Satan works,
God permits;
You will be made
A real man, made fit.

Thank you. It was a blessing to write this for him. The Lord has things in mind for him, and this is part of it. For the one to know the joy best, one must compare it with it's opposite-depression.
I thank the Lord you're in his life. Love him with the wisdom of the Lord. May your relationship be a tool of God to provoke you both to be more like Christ!

I loved this. Trials and spiritual battles mean nothing to the grace of God. Romans 8:18 For I concider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compaired with the glory that shall be revealed to us. Hey thanks for praying with me, It helped me alot. God bless you.
