Suicide Ride

I don't care where you take me,
Just as long as it's not backwards,
'Cause I've been there once before.

These long red lines,
Form a subtle pattern,
It makes me feel like such a whore.

Without my Mind Control pills,
I'm on a Suicide Ride,
Surprisingly it's not much fun.

I tear open my flesh,
With a sharp piece of steel,
And watch the crimson tears run.

Sometimes I feel,
Like I need to decide,
Before it's left up to a jury.

It's going to be either me or you,
So if you plan to help,
Please hurry.

Author notes

I feel that this is my best poem. I wrote this at the darkest point of my life.

I love the rhythm... It has some song like qualities that made my brain start humming. I can imagine the feelings the voice of the poem suggests because I have been there before...
