It's raining, it's pouring
This bad weather is abhoring
My happy feelings are waning
It's pouring, it's raining
Where is the sun, where is the shine
No barbecue, inside we dine
There is no chance for outdoor fun
Where is the shine, where is the sun
To change my mood poems I'll write
Poems that are cheerful and bright
Once again I'll be a happy dude
Poems I'll write to change my mood.

Good very good
I like the style you did a good job with it and your rhyme scheem was excellent. Thank you for your entry and good luck in the contest -
haha I literally started singing to this. It's very flowy, cheery, and upbeat, which I loved. You made it seem like rain can't make you gloomy, you're just too excited for the Sun to come out! haha. Thanks for entering, and good luck!

You absolutely rock - I felt like singing to this. You understand structured poetry and I love reading your pieces. As always I go away with awe because you inspire me.

Hehe I loved it but in the second stanza on the last line you forgot to switch "Where is the sun, where is the shine?" to "Where is the shine, where is the sun?" but I knew what you meant so it's all good. I loved the originality of it because it's got a cool style and rhyme scheme. Hehe Great job. Keep up the good work and never stop writing!
