F riends are like a glory, breeze,
R efreshing tale, everlasting river
I n my heart, plea for true poetry,
E ndless blessing and my devotion,
N ewborn morning, music, live light,
D ew on the palm, first spring's leaf,
S oft and tender butterflies wings.
Floating like the ocean scale, sparkling, white,
flying within the Universe rays, trembling light;
Your love, my friends are my wings in the night
to the world of my poetry and to endless delight.
I am:
Intoxicated with a joy of love,
mesmerized with mystic words,
infatuated with your friendships
and wrapped into the poetry.
Memories and love
would always be here with me.
Friendships forever.

I loved the second one, one line rhyme, you called it?
Freinds are like wings- always taking you higher, helping you float above the world and the pain in it.
I also notice how three of your poems invovle poetry as well as friendship- I don't know if it was part of the contest or not, but I thought it was very good. Friends are like good poetry- touching and beautifuly personal.
(one thing- in your haiku, I think it should be here, not hear.)Great entry. Loved it. Hope you win the contest! -

This is a well penned write, with an interesting form. I may have to peek at this contest. Collages are an abstract way to view many things, I never supposed it in poetry, but this works well. You are a creative spirit Sonja. Keep writing.
