The Song Of Songs (Pleiadic)

Beloved, sing the song of songs to me,
Enchanting with redemption's love story.

Beloved, sing atoning tales of old,
Before foundations, that were ever told.

The LORD God played the song of songs above
In starry skies and call of Mourning dove.

From there, through men, His ode He sang to me;
Sweet sounds portrayed Messiah's melody.

Crescendoed voice revealed the Promised One,
Enchanting with the gift of His own Son.

It climaxed on the cross where Jesus bled;
At Calvary redemption's love trilled red.

His resurrection tags this symphony,
An opus anthemed all through history.

Author notes

Today I had the opportunity to help with a fundraiser for the school I work for by baby-sitting a golf tee-off area.  It's one of the first, most exquisitely peaceful moments I've had to think in a long time.  And I'm so glad, because God was there with me... and He let me write this.

All glory to my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

    Stunning!

    This is phenomenal. I can't imagine offering a critique. Such a beautiful rendition of that book of the Bible.

    This poem, though not exactly what I had first intended, was a great joy for me to write.

    I wanted to right something about God's love, something that was a strong message. At first, I did one that was out of the Song of Solomon and Hosea (entitled "Behold, My Love"), but I wasn't satisfied with that one, even though I had some nice comments on that one, too.

    But when I was out on that golf course, I was reading the beginning of the Song of Solomon, and it was like God just flooded my brain with all this beauty!!!

    I have a friend that has a book by Hudson Taylor entitled "One With Christ" (I believe), about the Song of Solomon. I read the first page, and it was just about a PHRASE from the first verse- "the song of songs..."

    I was blown away by HIS comment on it, and it's left an impression in my brain. So, as I sat out there reading, and thinking, God just let His message flow... as it has been forever...

    I was amazed at the result myself.

    As I read more and more of your poetry, I feel like I could learn alot from you, just by reading them. This is a great example of that. You are very masterful in your word usage.

    I thought the couplets were supposed to have rhyming lines at the end. Wasn't that the way the examples were?

    Thank you for commenting- I can honestly tell you that it WAS inspiration from the Lord! I could NEVER write stuff like this on my own!
