Me, Myself And I

I wear my heart on my sleeve
I hide my hurt with a smile
I always look for the best
sometimes I am in denial

I try to please those I love
never asking much in return
feelings get hurt so easily
loves embers continue to burn

My love as a mom is abundant
my children have been my life
never found true love at all
never found lasting love as a wife

I love to make others smile
and tell them they are so nice
always giving and never taking
I have paid the ultimate price

With God in my heart now
I have begun to be happy at last
finally feeling that I am worthy
forgetting the pain of my past

My soul still cries out for true love
though it will never happen for me
I now live my life for my children
and for my God for all eternity

I guess this say alot about who I am. Sad but true. God has been giving me strength and has changed my life.

    Ok, hey Mom, I just wanted you to know how special you are to me, and everyone. It's a blessing just to know you, You have proven to be the greatest Mom anyone can have, you have a good heart, and you are a beautiful person, full of compassion and gentleness. In the line "never found true love at all" I know what context it's in, but look around, you have true love all around, You are loved so much, by everyone. I love you Mom,
