She gives and gives
even though she feels so
unappreciated
She cannot say no
or even ask for her due rewards
for she does not do things for credit
or praise
although
it would be nice to know that her efforts do not go
unnoticed
And if by chance she never hears
"Thank you"
from the lips of any of those whom she has helped
it will not sway her
or even phase her
for she cannot say no
She is the
Girl With Big Heart.

Author notes
I help people constantly and feel no appreciation whatsoever and for some reason I continue to help when asked and even offer help when I think it is needed. People always tell me I give too much and receive not enough....so I believe that an outsider would very quickly notice this and name me accordingly.

Black Lace said it all. We do not have to ever stop caring or giving , but there is a fine line of doing it at the expense of our own well being. As well as giving , we also have to learn to accept for ourselves in order to keep the scales balanced. I do find that most people who are always there for others , are usually falling apart themselves for they put themselves on the list last
I do hope that somehow and somewhere you will recieve a thank you,
so I will start
by thanking you for entering , and best wishes in the contest,
Reenie

Oh dear, most of my life has been spent serving others. Not being able to say no. I finally got to a point where I had to take care of me. great write.
