The Truly Immortal Flower

The rose never faded away,
her petals still life’s unique array,
her perfume surrounds with a crimson mist,
her unvoiced call is impossible to resist…

I wander in the land of constant twilight
under the blurry hood of sky’s dight,
just to be comforted by her sweet presence,
a nightly reverie chanting in blissful silence.

I desire never to recover my awareness,
and, loathly, I widen my eyes in distress,
eager for the next journey, though knowing
no more a Rose, but a Lily, I will be searching.

    Such a simple yet deep perception. Maybe something personal for the author. The rhyme is good and the flow is good. Some poetic lines are present. You have a good quality piece here. Thank you for this entry. My applause.

    It is really a beautifull poem touching the deep essence of the nature through and through.The write is signifying the immortality of the flower Rose with a grace of its place in the nature which is just matchless. The beauty of the write lies in its selection of the subject which is a great in terms of the its worth and value too. The flow of the write is very impressive and just to the point too.
