Our Journey Begins
Was it because of love at first sight?
Or deeper perhaps, he was my love
And then I wished with all my heart's might
We'd become one, the kind I dreamt of
I thought about you for quite some time
I knew in my heart of hearts we meshed
Your heart to mine, like lover's divine
My love, you're truly my happiness
I can't pinpoint the time my soul knew
But I do know it's you I adore
And all our love we'll cherish anew
As we share our hearts forevermore
You're god-sent, now my angel always
From above, you swept me off my feet
Now we will share the rest of our days
Showing the world our sweet love unique
And in my heart, know I'll care for you
My remaining breaths, I'll surely give
I have within you, a love so true
And you're the reason I want to live
All the years ahead we have in store
I'll still remember our first, soft kiss
Those light tingles reached my heart's core
Upon your tender, full, supple lips
I think my heart skipped a beat or two
Kinda the way I feel standing here
Upon a path we're starting bran-new
Cherishing every moment my dear
I think of how our hearts remain one
And this moment now is heavenly
Our love is fresh, for we've just begun
I want to thank you for loving me
