no DARK meaning here

a DARK night
with fallen stars
black holes
meteor showers

a DARK day
without any light
just thick clouds
camouflaged as night

nothing is as it appears
nothing is what it seems
fantasies brought to life
reality resting in a dream

thoughts from a provoked mind
words of wisdom released
look deep into any subject to find
what life can truly mean

I think, out of everything I've read by you, this is my favorite. It's beautiful. The exploration of the unknown and the unseen with truth that life is worth living...awesome. Congratulations on yet another great work.

    As always.

A lovely write Dark, but the jurys still out as to whether life has meaning or not. I'll let you know if I come to any definitive conclusions there. The line 'nothing is as it appears nothing is what it seems' struck the deepest chord for me. I think thats so true for everything around us. Reality is anything BUT that. This was a brilliant poem.

I really like this! It puts a good feeling in you about life. I am reading The Book of Renfield: The Gospel of Dracula. IOt talk about his Renfileds own childhood and today I read a part about the Dark Side of the Moon and the fact that the New Moons light can grant wishes. I just thought it was rather interesting. Anyway, the wish is is granted and so the meaning of life pertains to this, as his friend is resurrected. Anyway, wonderful poem!

I do believe life has meaning and you put well into your poem. This is very thought provoking; " nothing is what it seems, reality resting in a dream." I'll have to remember that to hang onto thorugh this weird time of mine. It is nice to see you writing again.
