Lone Thoughts

An imprisonment of self-destruction,
With no heart to share.
Your thoughts walk a path of thorns,
Tearing deep into your soul.
Because even surrounded by familiarity, faces,
You can still feel alone.

Author notes

Have had the strangest day today, one minute laughing out loud for no reason whatsoever, the next feeling close to crying...been one of those days.

This is dedicated to my Cyber Mum :hug: i need to start writing again, I need to come on here more often, and I want to speak to her more. I miss her so much :hug:

    as you know i most times have favorite lines and stanzas, but in this, the entire poem is something amazing to me. ive been slightly more emotional then what i was, and though i can feel the tears for reading this, they havent came fourth, i think ive cried them all out and were waiting, ( me and the eyes ) for the tear ducts to be refilled. i know its been a while since ive been on a.p. and ive posted a couple poems if your interested, i hope to be catching up on my commenting. i love this write that you have written and i thank you for writing and posting this read. ~Julzzz~

    A New Poem! Yay!!!

    This is very sweet to dedicate this to our mom, I have had these days before, and sadly, its been this way for me for quite sometime since my friend died... Anyways, I've noticed you've stopped by my poems but haven't commented... I'm sorry I haven't been around here for you and I don't want us to become distant, I miss you...
