I like the nature theme in this, gives us all a clear picture of how you descibe the poet, better than mundane philosphical chunter some poets come out with! lol, love the poem, thanks!

I usually don't like poems that don't rhyme but this one is definately an exception. It flowed so nicely it didn't need to rhyme. Keep up the great work and good luck in the contest.

I love the poem, Lady Poet, but the picture does not match it in grace or elegance, I am afraid to say. The poem has the strength of water, wearing away rock, and any poet would be honored to have it written of them.

While I like the passionate feeling in this page, I believe you wont mind if I pick on some issues like over use of excess imagery, after your second strophe till second last there is nothing new...all the images convey same thought without movements. I see your imagery is good, but if the images transmute into one another it will be even more gorgeous!

Oisin, your so~called 'simple thoughts on love' are a pure distillation of something of such immense complexity that it has stupified even the finest Poets for eons...never underestimate the power of your words, my Friend...Aside from that, (as if that were not enough!!!) from a more practical aspect, I suffer from insomnia, as is attested by the time I wrote this piece: 4 a.m. ~ after reading a few of your beautiful poems, I was lulled towards Peace...I finally slept, & slept deeply & well...for this, I thank you immeasureably...the Dreams I had were serene...This is not taken lightly by me at all, my Friend...it is a Gift of the highest caliber...my late Sweetheart used to talk to me & read to me in the most soothing voice one could imagine...Reading your words had much the same effect...Thank you, Oisin, for sharing your Gift with all of us...'specially me... Be well, Poet... Wanda
