Delicate and lovely
is the view that she sees
outside her balcony window
A land of lush green
woods and trees
where the birds sing
and the flowers grow
She lives here in this beauty
in peaceful solitude
where to her everyday
is dress up day
She dresses for the ball
that the King will be holding
in his castle way up high
She carries her invitation in hand
awaiting her coach and driver
for a night of dining and dancing
under the bright moonlight
The night is nearly over
time for her to sleep
another night of daydreams
another night without her King
Delicate and lovely
is the view that he sees
