Angelwing Embrace

Missing image
The gentle curves
That mark your face,
The curls that twist
And twirl with grace.
The ways your fingers
Come to me,
Like sunlit rays
They come to me.
We grew through thickets
Thick and tall.
Each prick we snared,
We shared them all.
As light to white
You shined on me.
You find the sight
You bind on me.
A wedding band
Fit for the hand
For just the one
Who'd understand.
A light so bright
You make in me,
The spirit you
Awake in me.
I love you like
A child loves
The angel feathers
Dropped from doves.
I know, you know,
God knows it too
That all my love
Was born in you.
A simple kiss
Construed in bliss
Is all that I
Could ask of this.
A world of woe
Would scarcely be
If only you
Would marry me.

    Brilliant!!!

WONNNNNNNNDERFUL!!! Now, THIS is the kind of brilliance I have arrogantly come to expect from you!!! Man, is there ANYTHING wrong with this?! If there is, I can't see it! Excellent!!! I know this is one of your older poems, but I'm still gonna give you an applause! I don't usually do that, but this one more than deserves it!! (Too bad I can't give out two!! ) - oce
